The International Foundation for Crime Prevention and Victim Care was founded in 2001 as a response to Chennai's noticeable absence of support agencies for women who are survivors of domestic abuse. Their mission is to provide direct services to survivors of domestic violence, with a particular focus on women and their children and to create more socially responsible future generations through community education initiatives and gender-sensitization workshops.
