About NGO:

V-Excel Educational Trust was established in the year 2002 and their beneficiaries include children and young adults with Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, Mental Retardation, Attention Deficit Disorders (ADD/ADHD), Down’s syndrome, Specific Learning Disabilities, physical disabilities and the like. They operate several service units that focus on the practical, educational and vocational skills of developmentally challenged individuals.

Most special children have unique and hidden talents. It is our endeavour to identify their abilities, set goals and evaluate their progress in specific skills. This is but a means to ensure that these children feel equipped enough to contribute meaningfully to society wherever possible and feel self-reliant.

Through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partnerships, V-Excel has launched several new initiatives to create and foster opportunities for our children and trainees. Some of these initiatives include:

Laundry training with Wassup Ondemand Laundry. Our center in Mylapore is a collection center and laundry services are provided here

Printing and Documentation Solutions in partnership with Hexaware Technology Pvt Ltd.

Early Intervention therapies and services in rural areas in partnership with Wipro Cares

Café Samarth – a weekend café run by our trainees

Sukrtam – music therapy offered to our children by Smt. Sowmya Iyer and her group of artistes
